About Kohala Zipline

Kohala Zipline is a Limited Liability Corporation whose sole member is Hawaii Forest & Trail, Ltd. a corporation owned by Rob and Cindy Pacheco.  With support from landowners Surety Kohala Corporation and Kohala Preservation Conservation Trust, Kohala Zipline operates a tree-based canopy tour in the ahupuaa of Halawa,  North Kohala. 

Driving Directions from Waikoloa & Kailua-Kona
Head north on Highway 19 (Queen Kaahumanu Hwy), to the junction of Highway 19 and Highway 270 (Akoni Pule Hwy)
Turn left on Highway 270 heading towards Kawaihae & Hawi.
Continue north on Highway 270 through Hawi.
The Kohala Zipline Station is approximately 1/3 of a mile past Hawi on the right hand side, across the street from the Post Office.
If you see the King Kamehameha Statue in Kapaau, you’ve gone too far.  Turn around and head back towards Hawi.
